You can tell it's a bit old hotel, and would need some renovations. However, it is very well maintained and very clean. Room was comfortable. We liked the private beach. Stuff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel offers a lot of entertainment, as pools, hot tub, tennis courts, bbq area and private beach, you can also rent bikes and binoculars which is cool. They offer coffee in the morning.
Good location.
We enjoyed the beach and the proximity to downtown. It was very easy to get in and out of the resort. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the game offerings at the front desk.

I liked getting away from home but the facility as a whole was horrible.

Well it looks like it is on the beach , it is not. you have to walk a good distance to get to the beach.
